Softaken DBX to PST Converter is a Windows tool from Softaken Software for moving mail out of Outlook Express. It reads the DBX files in which that discontinued client kept each mail folder and rewrites their messages as an Outlook PST file, so that old archives can be opened in Microsoft Outlook. Outlook Express itself does not have to be installed.
Brings old Outlook Express mail folders into Outlook or other current mail clients.
A DBX file is selected, its messages are shown in a preview pane and an export format is chosen: Unicode PST, EML, EMLX, MSG or MBOX. Attachments and rich-text formatting are carried over, and there is no limit on file size. Files are processed one at a time, since there is no batch mode, and only healthy DBX files are handled because the program does not repair damaged ones. The demo converts ten items; the full version requires a paid licence.
